Is there anyone who can help with the location of an original Land Rover
Raised Ar Intake kit to suit a six cylinder long wheel base Series III.

The part number which I have is 608154 which I got out of a 1984 Optional
Equipment Parts Catalogue

I did try a few dealers in the Uk a few years ago, but with no success -
Maybe they all went to africa!

I saw an email about Rob Emmins and how he had the code for
the Discovery ECU. The email also implied that Rob made
changes for himself and for Land Rover. Does anyone know
how to contact Rob Emmins? If nothing else, I would like
to see the ECU code and then possibly make changes sometime
down the road.

thanks,

I don't know about Rob E.
but there was something from `Bill' crash@merl.com
about Disco err codes that I saved at
   http://www.cs.monash.edu.au/~lloyd/tildeLand-Rover/Elec/index.html

Hello all!

Since there presently is such a hissy-fit going on with the main list, I
thought I'd subscribe over here for a while. Recently I saw an article in
LROI on Australian LR's. In one of the pictures, there was a 110 with a
modified top that turned it into a four-door 110 with a short pick-up bed.
My question: Is that an available roof which can be placed on a 4 door lwb
LR (such as a 109)? I'd love to modify a 109 in such a way

I seem to remember seeing a few of those floating about during the
bi-centennial a few years ago. I think they were a factory option at the
time, but possibly an Oz special. If you could get hold of a roof you
would have to change the windscreen also as the 110 screen is slightly
different. I guess if you were handy at metalwork you could modify a LWB
roof into something similar.

Personally I would buy a Defender 130 crew cab, one of the most practical
vehicles on the market (as long as you don't need to go around too many
sharp corners). (Yeah I know, not available in the States, bummer eh?).

Cheers. Tony.

If you can stand the Ferraris and Lamborghinis
(Aston Martin DB7 and Lotus Elise look nice)
there are 2 Disco's, 2 Rangies, Def 110 and Def 130 Crew Cab
at the motor show - next to the BMW stand.

There are quite a few Toy Shops represented and you
can pick up a`Hart Models' LR 90 for just $136.
