Subject: Place to get 110 checked out in Melb ?

Hi all.

I'm looking at buying a LR 110.

Looks Ok to me, noisy gearbox (VERY noisy gearbox !) LT-85 5 speed.

Dealer says he's going to fix that though !

But I want to get it checked out otherwise buy someone who knows 110s well.

I was planning to take it to ULR or Ritters, but the dealer doesn't like
that idea 'cos he reckons
they'll bag the truck and try and sell me one of theirs !

So, does anyone know of a good 'independant' Land Rover guy in Melbourne
(preferably SE suburbs way, St.Kilda/Prahran/Seaford/Clayton sort of way).
The truck is in Sandringham.

Please reply ASAP, as I hope to get it checked out tomorrow (I don't think
so, but hey !) or early next week.
