You own a late model vehicle (Disco, Defender, Rangie, etc...) You want to enjoy all that it can offer, but would like to keep damage You live in Victoria (preferably Melb. metro) You probably can't get away every weekend, but the odd day-trip is always well received When you do plan a weekend away, you look forward to taking the other half (and kids), but you know that their definition of 'roughing it' is staying in a motel where the TV has no remote control, and where you have to take your own hair dryer ! You recognise the stupidity of getting off the highway in a convoy of one I'm keen to hook up with anyone else who might want to get together for the odd social drive, and enjoy some of the finer things that life has to offer. Cheers... LP ------------------------------[ <- Message 2 -> end | Table of Contents | <- Digest 960715 -> | Search Archive Index | <- Browser -> ]

A 4WD club is a good place to start; there is a list at http://www.sofcom.com.au/4WD/Clubs/Au/index.html There are many Discovery owners in the Land Rover Owners Club (Vic) for example, and some of those Disco's are well "exercised". I really like the look of them as they seem to fall somewhere between my Manx beach buggy and my Series 2a. If any one has the address of the manufacturer, or someone else I can contact for information, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance, James.
