From: "Barge, John" <Umatac_jbarge@Suncor.com> Date: Sun, 6 Feb 2000 18:53:19 -0700 Subject: LR Parts Vendor List I was thinking about compiling a list of vendors of LR parts, new or used, and placing this on my website for everyone's information. For those of us living a ways from decent suppliers, I thought that it would be handy. I suppose I could list service places also. Anyway, if anyone wishes, please e-mail me information that you have on any suppliers. Useful info would include... - Business name - Contact name - Phone, fax, e-mail - Website - Description of the range of parts covered. - Is a catalog available? If so, cost.. - If you have used them, your feelings on level of service. - Anything else that you could think of The site page will be here http://www.geocities.com/Baja/Dunes/7501/auslrparts.html I'll get something up in the next few days and put up the places that I know about. I should not butt in here because I am not Disco literate, but I would be reluctant to use the spare tyre as a climbing mechanism if it is attached to the rear door. The Defender fixtures do not have my confidence as spare tyre holder apart from as a ladder - there are rumours/myths/legends that the weight of the tyre slowly damages the hinges on rough roads. Others with long term personal experience feel free to disagree, all my Defender owing colleagues independently took one look at the spare tyre and made other arrangements straight away. Maybe they are paranoid or too inclined to believe myths and legends.... Jamie - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -[ <- Message 3 -> | Table of Contents | Search Archive Index | <- Browser -> ]

I have been working on a Range Rover webpage for the last week and have compiled (partly) a spare parts page, you are welcome to include any of the listings on my page. http://www.comcen.com.au/~blumx/Homepage_spares.html My webpage is in the very early stages and access is only available to the spare parts and paint codes pages this includes all mistakes.
