No other way to really make sure but to go out of town this weekend and find out. Have already seen 3 Rangies (2 white) and 4 Discos (green, white) in Boston and I waved but all I got were blank stares.....why's-that-Chinese-looking-guy-waving-at- me-kinda-look. David,
That's good to know. I spoke to David Bowyer in the UK. He told me point blank
that I would have to re-route the oil cooler pipes.
Where did you get your Warn M8000 winch and mount ????? Interested because I
have quotes from a number of places, all around the $600 mark for the winch.

Mark,
I did not re-route the oil cooler line. The height of the Warn
M8000 is only 6.5". I just lowered it enough to give a good inch of
clearance. The total drop from the chassis horns is about 7.5". I guess
one could argue that the wire could bunch up and rupture the oil line.
However, the winch comes with two bars that run parrallel to the spool which
should arrest the cable before it could hit the oil line. Has anyone out
there run into a problem with the wire rope hitting the oil cooler line?
