Hi Tim

is it true that the YDNP are only looking at evidence of use before
1930's?

I was told by the local RoW officer that because Cheshire was a relativly
rich county it surfaced nearly all its roads just after the time of the
handover from Local RDC's and Parish Councils. No roads in Cheshire that
were metalled have since been allowed to fall into disrepair with the
exception of roads cut in half by the building of motorways or Bypasses.

Our biggest problem in Cheshire is persauding people to drive their 3cm of
UCR or rupp. We are losing more Km through lack of use rather than the
actions of Gleam et al.
