If so then in my experience you should get a written statement from the company that they cover that use. My recent experience is that many companies, including some that advertise in LRO will not insure for off tarmac use - this is for non-competitive social/pleasure use only - they will not insure for driving byeways let alone anything more rigourous. Their social/domestic/pleasure clause assumes tarmac only use. Phil. From: marsden@digicon-egr.co.uk (Richard Marsden) Subject: Hi folks! (+Paint Query) Date: Wed, 17 Apr 96 15:16:25 BST Hi! I've just joined the LRO and LRO-UK listservers earlier today, having purchased an ex-mil (Fitted For Radio) Series III 109 just over a month ago. Pretty-much in good nick, the engine leaks a little oil, and the gearbox could be quieter. Some of the paintwork needs doing/is flaking off, so I was going to attack that this week or next. Also, a truck decided to rub alongside my passenger side (dent in the left wing - hammer that out tonight; and scratches down the left side). Just been phoning around for NATO green paint, but no-one seems to have any. Safari Engineering have some, but the smallest quantity they currently have is by the gallon (L45). They suggested I phone back next week, in-case something comes in. Anyone know of anywhere that has NATO green in reasonable quantities (say, 1 litre?). I don't have an airbrush, so an aerosol would be ideal for the scratches (and brush-on for more substantial bits). Also, I see Paddock have a "Dent Puller Kit" - what is this? (Yes, I know Paddock advertise paint in the latest issue of LROi, but they don't have NATO green) Any suggestions on panel beating wings in-situ, should reply before 5pm! (I'll probably take the wheel off, to enable access to the inside).
