To cut down on spam (and I hope reduce the attacks by the spam killer...) you must be subscribed to a lro list to post to it. If you mail from several mail accounts / machines this will cause you problems. There are 2 choices. a: subscribe from every mail address you think you might use. This will let Bill quote more subscribers to his advertises and increase the beer money he gets to maybe halfway cover running the lists. Maybe you don't want 20 copies of every posting though. b: Add your alternative addresses to the nolist which will register you to post, BUT will not involve gettting mailed everything 20 times. However, you don't have to register every single mail address you have, simply every company that you use. For example, Gary works at BT (I'd make a joke here but I worked there in the past, so I can't). His email address ends in BT.com Gary can post from BT.com. However, if he had a hotmail account and tried to post from GaryVale@Hotmail.com (apologies if this is a real address, I made it up) then the spamkiller will attack and destroy the post. Gary can register hotmail.com on nolist to avoid this. But also Gary uses a different machine for email and the address on that is GaryVale@martlesham.bt.com then this is OK and does not need to be on the nolist list. The major will see BT.com and realise that Martlesham is a part of the BT.com domain and be OK. Nolist is a list of registered posters, the uk-lro is a list of people who want to post and also to receive. Hopefully I cleared this up more than I have confused it...
