Subject: Re: Its your round
long story containing all elements of Sods Law appertaining to travel,
C*mp*t*rs, printing schedules, snail mail and, quite probably, the meaning
of life.
Just about the only element missing was a mistaken launch of IBMs - but I
wouldn't totally discount that either.......there is still time before next
month's mag....
BTW it won't (shouldn't be - not the same thing) be on the back page next
month either, but should be elsewhere. Anyone who actually prefers it where
it was can contact the magazine editor of course, but I didn't say that.
Best Cheers
Frank

Well I never went away, just subscribed to Freeserve and was only allowed to lurk. It seems that the Major didn't like that I called my computer "2286" , cos I'm sad like that. It wasn't a problem with my old ISP, but with Freeserve, the Major just trashed anything I said....story of my life that.... I eventually worked it out thanks to Bill. Computer is now call "Solihull". Sad or what? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -[ <- Message 7 -> | Table of Contents | <- Digest 990315 -> | Search Archive Index | <- Browser -> ]

I applied through Series II club, but form from LRO makes no mention of this...just states that there is no specific pitch number...the whole idea was that the club would all be pitched next to each other....or was I mistaken? Anyone from the club on the list? I don't really want to be camping with that scruffy Series 3 lot! I mean the Series 1s and Series 2s are the aristocracy of Land Rovers...not like the nouveau riche of RR and Disco....and boy racer Freebies.
