Subject: High Ratio transfer gears

Does anyone out there know if it's possible to get high ratio transfer gears for
the IIa gearbox? How do they compare to a Fairey overdrive in raising the
gearing?
How much does the conversion cost?

This is not quite right either
My Hybrid is legally tax exempt with the blessings of the vehicle licensing
dept. In fact they helped me change from the Q plate issued when I built it to
the original J plate of the Range Rover I built it from.

Don't worry, I won't forget - the doctor says I should have recovered from
the last bout of additive by then... My eyes can now focus and my legs seem
to do as they are told....

I need a stiff drink - the plastic paddy beat me in an RTV trial today, no
doubt he'll be gloating in an issue of LRO shortly :-(
Still, I guess it had to happen some day.

I think any new vehicle seats (or lounge chairs for that matter) take a
little while to mould to the individuals 'lumps and bumps', after they've
been sat in for a while (weeks) they mould around you better

although some may be worse than others (never mould properly or just be too
soft to provide enough support) I believe it to be a serious mistake to
replace the seats before you have given them a chance to wear in

try them for a while and then decide

just my thoughts - you are welcome to use them if you like

Subject: Dunsfold leaf sprung "Sort-Out"

Took a little drive down to Dunsfold today, where they were selling off
lots of Series I,II & III parts, as well as lots of 101 bits.

 Apart from the bargains to be had, the Dunsfold collection were on show.
The Maestro/Freeloader mule is a real lash-up!
 
 My kids were quite taken with the Judge Dredd 101s.
 
 There were several Dutch & Belgian registered Landys hauling off piles of
spares.
 
 Sad to relate we went in the Mits*bishi Sh*gun (wifeys car), due to the
lack of seat belts in the back of Dougal. Several people watched our
departure, hoping we would bog down in the mud, but they were disappointed.
(It`s pretty good off-road actually...)

Paul, are these out all the time ?  If so, I'll have to take a run
