Colin,
dunno why, so I won't answer....
but, buy two plates, the ones with the captive studs, before you start to do
the job. That way all eight nuts will come off easily and you will have no
problems.
Don't buy the plates and you will strip most of the studs and be left high
and dry until you can buy them.
This is an inviolable Land Rover rule :-(>

Subject: EP-90, bloody knuckles and argh!

Where the *(&*(&*^ is the filler for the transfer box?! I've spent a while
clearing of mud and gunk from the underside of The Rancour and cannot find
it!! Also, there is a fine spray of oil above the rear diff, just where the
prop shaft goes in? HElp - what is this?
