I to once had badly worn brake adjusters on my Land Rover. I thought sbout 
purchasing the kit but realized that there was nothing sacred about the 
actual hight of each stop. I got out a deburring tool and ground new resting
points on the adjusting wheel {Kind of like rewgrinding a cam, its a little sma
smaller in dia. but everything adjusts to fit}
Everything worked properly after grinding the stops. Its been 8 or 9 years
and lots of brake adjustments since then.
